SafeWake is provided by Ricardo Lopez under the Building on the Land brand.
Information SafeWake does not collect
SafeWake does not collect personal information, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, contact details, files, screenshots, running-task contents, browsing history, or biometric information. The current app contains no account system, analytics service, advertising network, or third-party tracking SDK.
Information stored locally
SafeWake stores limited preferences on your Mac, such as the selected Watch Mode screen. These settings remain in the app's local container and are not sent to Building on the Land or another service.
macOS system services
SafeWake asks macOS to prevent idle system and display sleep during an active session. When you unlock SafeWake, macOS performs device-owner authentication. SafeWake receives only the success or failure result; it does not receive or store your password, fingerprint, or other biometric data.
Screen and background work
Live Desktop mode uses a transparent or translucent app window so you can see the real desktop underneath. SafeWake does not capture, record, upload, or analyze the screen. It does not inspect the contents of the render, upload, agent, script, backup, or other task you are running.
Data retention and deletion
Because SafeWake does not collect personal data, there is no server-side personal-data record to retain or delete. Local preferences can be removed by deleting the app's local container or resetting the app.
Children's privacy
SafeWake does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
Changes to this policy
If SafeWake's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before the changed behavior is released.
