License
SafeWake is licensed, not sold. For the Mac App Store version, your license is governed by the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with the product-specific clarifications below.
Intended use
SafeWake is a macOS utility intended to help prevent idle system and display sleep while an app-level screen cover discourages casual interaction. You are responsible for confirming that the task you care about is running correctly before leaving the Mac unattended.
Important security limitation
SafeWake is not the macOS Lock Screen and is not a substitute for operating-system security. Its Privacy Screen is an app-level window. A person with determined physical or administrative access may be able to quit, bypass, or interrupt the app. Use the real macOS Lock Screen whenever you require a system security boundary.
No guarantee of uninterrupted work
SafeWake can request that macOS prevent idle sleep, but it cannot guarantee that another app, render, upload, agent, script, or background task will complete. Shutdown, restart, power loss, battery depletion, force-quit, crashes, operating-system policy, hardware conditions, or third-party app behavior may interrupt a session.
Responsible use
Do not use SafeWake where a real lock, supervised access control, workplace security measure, or legal compliance control is required. Do not rely on SafeWake to protect highly sensitive information from a determined person with access to the Mac.
Updates and availability
Features may change as SafeWake improves. Mac App Store updates will be distributed through the Mac App Store. Ricardo Lopez, operating under the Building on the Land brand, may update these terms when product behavior or legal requirements change.
